Приведен современный взгляд на патофизиологические механизмы влияния сахарного диабета на сердечные структуры с описанием 2 наиболее значимых патологических синдромов — диабетической кардиомиопатии и изменения морфологической структуры створок атриовентрикулярных клапанов — и обоснованием расширения роли эндокринолога в обследовании и лечении кардиохирургических пациентов.</p></sec><sec><title>   Заключение</title><p>   Заключение. Системный взгляд на проблему сахарного диабета в кардиохирургии с внедрением мультидисциплинарного подхода и активным участием эндокринолога на всех этапах лечебного процесса позволит улучшить результаты лечения кардиохирургических пациентов и уменьшить сроки их послеоперационного восстановления.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>   The increasing number of patients with diabetes in the structure of comorbid cardiothoracic patients necessitates a more detailed study of the pathophysiological mechanisms of the modifying infl uence of diabetes, taking into account new scientific data. This allows for a more systematic view of processes that were previously the prerogative of specialists.</p><sec><title>   Content</title><p>   Content. A modern perspective on the pathophysiological mechanisms of diabetes on cardiac structures is presented, with a description of the two most signifi cant pathological syndromes — diabetic cardiomyopathy and changes in the morphological structure of the atrioventricular valve leafl ets.
