<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The composition of the intestinal microbiota is associated with the course of diseases such as chronic kidney disease, arterial hypertension and coronary heart disease. Patients with CKD, hypertension and coronary artery disease often experience changes in the composition of the microbiota, which may be associated with an increase in inflammatory processes, metabolic disorders and other factors that contribute to the progression of these diseases. The gut microbiota can change in response to treatment, improving the patient’s condition. This review highlights a uremic toxin produced by the gut microbiota, phenylacetylglutamine (PAG), which may be an excellent indicator of the likelihood of in-stent restenosis or hyperplasia. An increase in the number of bacteria of the genus Lachnospira can lead to postoperative complications after coronary artery bypass grafting.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>микробиота кишечника</kwd><kwd>хроническая болезнь почек</kwd><kwd>артериальная гипертензия</kwd><kwd>ишемическая болезнь почек</kwd><kwd>стентирование</kwd><kwd>аортокоронарное шунтирование</kwd><kwd>ишемическая болезнь сердца</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>intestinal microbiota</kwd><kwd>chronic kidney disease</kwd><kwd>arterial hypertension</kwd><kwd>ischemic kidney disease</kwd><kwd>stenting</kwd><kwd>coronary artery bypass grafting</kwd><kwd>coronary heart disease</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Miyauchi E. et al.
